Providing a simple and effective means of monitoring pest activity, Fruit Tree Grease stops pests in their tracks by preventing them climbing the trunk. Fruit Tree Grease: Effective monitoring trap Easy-to-use, simply brush-on Apply in autumn (September/October) and renew in February Containing rapeseed oil, Fruit Tree Grease stops pests such as the Winter Moth and the Mottled Umber Moth which invade fruit trees from late October to early December. It also protects against the March Moth which invades early spring. Fruit Tree Grease will trap the female, wingless adults providing a good indication to the level of infestation on each tree. The grease should also be applied to neighbouring trees if an infestation is found. Fruit Tree Grease will provide a complete barrier if applied completely around the base of the tree, approximately 45cm above ground level. Replenish as required to maintain stickiness.
